What are your fees and how can I pay?
A 50-minute session is $200. I am happy to discuss sliding-scale payment options. I accept payment via ACH Bank transfer, Discover, Health Savings Account, Mastercard, Venmo, and Visa. During the intake process, you will provide your payment information and I will charge you after every session.
Do you take insurance?
I am not currently in-network with any insurance plans and am considered an “out-of-network” provider. This choice allows me more time and flexibility to focus on supporting you in and out of sessions most effectively. Upon request, I am happy to provide a monthly statement for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. You are responsible for reaching out to your insurance to determine possible benefits.
Do you offer telehealth services?
Yes, I work with clients both in-person and virtually. When receiving services via telehealth, clients must be located within the state of Pennsylvania.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask that you provide 24-hour notice to cancel your appointment without penalty. If we are unable to reschedule your appointment within the same week, the cancellation fee will be the cost of the full session.
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes, please reach out to schedule a consultation.
How long is a session and how often will we meet?
A typical session is 50 minutes. I am also able to provide 100-minute sessions with advanced planning. I usually recommend meeting weekly or every other week to begin with. Depending on budget, schedule, and needs, we can discuss what makes the most sense for our work together.
How can I get started with therapy?
First, you can contact me to schedule a free consultation call. If you would like to move forward with starting therapy after our call, I will provide you with several electronic intake forms to complete. We can then schedule an initial session to begin therapy.
What are the "No Surprises Act" and a "Good Faith Estimate"?
As a healthcare provider, I am mandated by law to provide clients without insurance or not using insurance with an estimate of expected charges for non-emergency medical services, including psychotherapy. This estimate is intended to give you clarity on your financial commitment and to ensure transparency in billing procedures. A Good Faith Estimate form is included in the initial intake packet provided to clients preparing to engage in my services. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service or at any point during your treatment. If you receive a bill that exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by at least $400, you have the right to dispute the charges. Please remember to retain a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate for reference. For inquiries or additional details regarding your entitlement to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
